Turn every client's security question into priced, managed work.
One intake per client. Gaps mapped to the frameworks that client answers to, put in order of severity, with a priced fix beside each one. You keep the client and you set the price.
Security questions become a repeatable, billable service.
Every renewal form and security questionnaire is answered by hand, from memory, one client at a time. The fix then takes a quote cycle to sell.
One intake and a read-only scan per client. Gaps mapped to that client's frameworks, ordered by severity, with a priced fix beside each one.
- Hours back on every assessment
- A remediation sale with the price in hand
- One comparable view of your whole book
- Proof of how each answer was reached
The security question arrives, and the owner answers it by hand.
- It lands on the owner or the senior tech, because nobody else knows the client well enough.
- The fix and its price live on vendor calls, so every remediation takes a quote cycle to sell.
- No two clients are assessed the same way, so nothing compares across the book.
- When an insurer or auditor asks how an answer was produced, you have an email thread.
Your whole book, ranked, with the price of the fix beside each gap.
This is the decision engine at work: evidence in, risk ordered by severity against each client's frameworks, and a priced option out.
- Evidence you can trust. Each finding says whether the scan measured it or the client reported it.
- Priority, not a pile. Gaps are scored against the frameworks that client answers to and ordered by severity.
- The price in hand. The product category that closes the gap, at channel price. Your client never sees it.
- The client's decision, recorded. Accept, defer or decline per item, with a named reviewer. Next

See the MSP walkthroughwww.valuealigners.com/msp↗Six stages per client, run from one portal.
Every managed client moves through the same steps, so sixty one-off engagements become one comparable portfolio.
Intake and scan
Run a 30-minute intake with the client and trigger the read-only scan.
Mapping
Gaps scored against the client's frameworks, each marked measured or self-reported.
Plan
A severity-ordered list and a client PDF. Price the remediation as managed work.
Fix
The product category and a priced option at channel price. Sell it at your price.
Record
NextYou, or a vCISO you choose, sign each answer as named reviewer.
Renewal
Re-run and re-verify four times a year for clients on the Core plan.
Four ways MSPs turn this into revenue.
A security tier, priced per client
Clients on the Core plan get the decision record, quarterly re-verification and a renewal they can defend. A line item you set, not a project you scope each time.
Every insurance renewal is a sales moment
Start the intake 60 days out. The answers, the gaps and the priced fixes are ready before the form is due.
One gap, twelve clients, one offer
The portfolio view shows which gaps your clients share. Sell the fix once, as a campaign.
Hours back on every assessment
The same intake and ordering for every client replaces the spreadsheet and the Word template.
Adjust the numbers to your own clients.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a forecast. Margin = clients who buy x users x (your price minus channel cost) x 12. Time back assumes one assessment per client per year at 30 minutes on Value Aligners. Founding MSPs pay $0 until 29 Jan 2027; after that, Core is $2,400 per client on the plan per year.
Assessment is a feature. A priced, independent decision is the product.
How the usual ways of answering a client's security question compare, from the MSP's seat.

| Gaps mapped to the frameworks the client's sector answers to | Partly | Yes | No | Yes |
| Each finding marked measured or self-reported | No | Partly | No | Yes |
| A priced fix beside the gap, at channel price | No | No | Partly | Yes |
| Ranking no vendor can pay to influence | Yes | Partly | No | Yes |
| You keep the client and set the price | Yes | Yes | Partly | Yes |

How Value Aligners makes money: MSPs pay per client on a plan. From 29 January 2027, vendors pay a disclosed commission on sales closed through the marketplace. Nobody can pay to be ranked or recommended.
MSP revenue share termswww.valuealigners.com/legal/msp-revenue-share↗The questions MSP owners ask first.
Will this put an agent on my clients' networks?
No. Nothing is installed. The scan is read-only from outside, and no scan runs before a signed authorization.
Doesn't transparent pricing cost me my margin?
Your client never sees the channel price. Pricing shows inside your view, with your packaging. Your margin is the managed service, and it closes faster.
Most of these gaps I can fix myself. Why do I need you?
You should fix them. We give you the ordered list, the evidence and a price, so you can sell the fix as managed work.
We are a service provider, not a reseller.
We are not asking you to resell licences. You sell the managed service at your price.
I don't have the bandwidth.
The founding program asks for one hour a week and three clients.
What do you hold?
General liability. Cyber and E&O cover is quoted, not yet bound. SOC 2 Type I is our target; no report exists yet.
